A fund-raising and volunteer recruitment video for a local animal rescue organization in Nevada County

Concept: Animal Save, a donor-funded and largely volunteer-staffed animal welfare organization with a multitude of programs needed a video to air on the local Community TV channel during a pledge week. The video described its major programs and accomplishments in order to attract new volunteers as well as donations of cash, items for its second hand store and food donations for its feral cat program. The Executive Director was on air live to introduce the video and emphasize the call to action.

Execution: Iliani worked with the Animal Save staff, the Executive Director and Board President to identify their strongest programs and representative volunteers to interview over the two-day shoot period. As producer/director/shooter, Iliani created an 11:00 video that could air as a whole piece during the pledge time, distinct chapters that could be interrupted by live studio comments and calls to action, as well as chapters for additional use online.

Distribution: The video aired during the Community TV channel pledge time as well as on the Animal Save web site and You Tube.

Success: The video attracted additional volunteers for their Foster animal program, increased awareness and requests for their mobile spay/neuter van, and attracted donations as desired.

This project was completed by Iliani prior to founding TrimTab Media.
