Asian Pacific Fund | Client Story

We worked with Asian Pacific Fund to produce this story about Heather, a young woman who struggled with depression before receiving help from Community Youth Center of San Francisco – one of their grantees.

Concept: We worked with Asian Pacific Fund’s Executive Director and Marketing Team to identify several stories for a Mini-Documentary that would help them highlight the impact of their work, and help with fundraising at their annual gala.

Execution: In a 3-person crew, we captured footage for Heather’s Story at her High School, at Community Youth Center’s location in the the Tenderloin District of San Francisco, and of one of their programs, One Breath Dragon Boat Racing, at Lake Merced. We utilized aerial photography, stabilizing rigs and on-shore long-lens cameras to capture multiple sequences that would tell Heather’s story in a visually impactful way.

Distribution: The Mini-Documentary was played at Asian Pacific Fund’s annual fundraising gala and is being used in online fundraising efforts.
