We worked with Equal Rights Advocates to produce their 2021 virtual fundraising gala.
In 2020, Equal Rights Advocates planned and produced their first virtual gala after the COVID-19 crisis forced them to cancel their annual in-person event. With a newfound appreciation for the amount of work it takes to produce an engaging virtual event, they reached out to our creative team for support in planning, producing, editing and live-streaming their 2021 virtual fundraising gala.
TrimTab Media & our partners at Girl Friday Events worked with ERA’s communications & development team to plan the run-of-show for their upcoming gala, schedule and produce several in-person shoots in multiple locations using safe COVID-19 production protocols. Our production team captured in-person and remote recordings of the event’s emcee, board members, keynote speakers & sponsor messages. We also produced several mini-documentaries featuring their client’s stories.
Our editorial team designed motion graphics, worked with our composer partner on the score, edited the 60-minute program together, color-corrected and mixed the audio with feedback and support from ERA’s event team. On the day of the event, we provided full technical support and live-streaming services for ERA’s pre-gala VIP program and the gala itself, providing audience members with a live-chat function during the event.
The Gala was live-streamed on September 24, 2021, and helped ERA raise more than $600,000 in funding to support their work advancing fairness and equity for women, girls of color, low-paid workers and their families, immigrants, LGBTQ+ youth, and other under-resourced communities. We were honored to partner with them on this event, and are proud to support their work.
